About this Race
The TCS Amsterdam Marathon is one of Europe's flattest and fastest marathon courses, making it a favourite destination for runners targeting personal bests. Starting and finishing inside the historic Olympic Stadium, the route passes through Amsterdam's iconic canal district, Vondelpark, and the wider metropolitan area, offering a picturesque and varied running experience. The course elevation gain is among the lowest of any major European marathon, and the cool autumn conditions typically make for ideal racing weather. With around 20,000 marathon finishers and a well-earned reputation for excellent organisation, Amsterdam attracts a strong international field each October. Pacers are provided for all major finish time targets.
